Where to stay for an André Rieu concert in Maastricht
The Vrijthof concerts are a few kilometres away — you sleep on the river, outside the crowds.
When André Rieu plays on the Vrijthof, Maastricht fills up. Rooms in the city centre sell out early and prices rise. Staying just across the border is the calmer option.
Maas Suites sits about 2.5 kilometres from Maastricht, on the Belgian side of the river in Smeermaas and Lanaken. You are close enough to reach the Vrijthof easily, and far enough to sleep by the water afterwards.
